31/7 - 31/8    JAPAN; 8J1ESP
               on 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres by PY3DF, JA1FXZ and a group
               from the International League of Esperantists Radio
               Amateurs. On 4-12 August activity will take place from
               the 92nd Esperanto World Conference in Yokohama.

2/8 - 7/8      ALASKA; W5BOS/KL7 and W5BOS/ALØ NA-235 NEW and NA-238
               from two IOTA groups, Semidi Islands (W5BOS/KL7) operation
               will be battery power only, because all of the Semidi
               Islands and associated rocks are part of the National
               Wilderness Preservation System and are closed to mechanical
               equipment such as generators. The second operation will be
               from Unavikshak Island (W5BOS/ALØ). QSL via N6AWD.

4/8 - 20/8     GUADELOUPE; FG/F1JXQ NA-102
               operates SSB and is likely to be found on 10-6 metres
               and 2 m between 10 and 16 UTC. QSL direct to home call.

11/8 - 17/8    USA; K4I NA-112
               from Sunset Beach by AI4U on 10-40 metres CW/SSB and
               as time allows. QSL via home call.

15/8 - 22/8    CANARY IS.; EA8/ON6ZK AF-004
               from the Island of Tenerife by ON6ZK on a holiday operation.
               He will operate from his hotel room with a FT897 with
               25 watts only, mainly on 20 and 17 meters SSB. The antenna
               is a telescopic antenna (only about 1.5 meters in length).
               He will also try to activate the Teide mountain, probably
               on August 18th on 20 meters SSB. QSL via the bureau
               to ON6ZK.

17/8 - 19/8    CHILE; CE4S and CE4T
               by CE3CMZ and CE3FZL from Topocalma lighthouse
               (ARLHS CHI-076). They plan to operate SSB only
               on 40, 20 and 10 metres. QSL via EA5KB.

17/8 - 19/8    ARGENTINA; LR3DX, LU3DXG and LU6XA
               the Bahia Blanca DX Group will operate on all bands and
               modes from four different lighthouses for the International
               Lighthouse & Lightship Weekend. Expect them to be using
               LR3DX from Rincon Lighthouse (ARLHS ARG-036), LU3DXG from
               Baliza Tripoede (ARLHS ARG-1884) and LU6XA from Cabo Blanco
               Lighthouse (ARLHS ARG-001) and operators at Recalada
               Lighthouse (ARLHS ARG-009) will be signing homecall/D.

17/8 - 20/8    AUSTRALIA; VK4HAM/LGT OC-137
               from the Cape Moreton Lighthouse (ARLH AUS-039) on Moreton
               Island by VK4NDX, VK4HMU and VK4FEAT. Expect activity on

17/8 - 27/8    GREENLAND; OX/HB9FMD
               from Hotel Hvide Falk in Ilulissat, mainly CW

               from Cape Florida lighthouse (ARLHS USA-118) on Key Biscayne
               for the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend.
               They plan to be active from 13 UTC to 23.30 UTC on 40

               plan to operate CW and SSB on 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres.

               activity will be mainly on CW (no bands of activity were

               up to twelve stations by the Five Star DXers Association

23/9 - 29/9    PAPUA NEW GUINEA; P29VCX OC-284 IOTA NEW!
               from Nukumanu Island (OC-284) is planned by Hans SM6CVX,
               G3KHZ, G4EDG and CT1AGF for activities on all bands CW/SSB
               with three stations. A special permission is needed to be
               able to visit the islands, which as some researchers beleive
               belongs to those that will sink into the ocean in about 5
               years! The expedition will be very expensive, ca 30.000 USD.

26/9 - 9/10    BURUNDI; 9UØA
               by DL7DF and his team (including DK1BT, DL4WK, DL7UFN,
               DL7UFR and SP3DOI). They plan to operate CW, SSB, RTTY,

30/9 - 5/10    PAPUA NEW GUINEA; P29NI OC-283 IOTA NEW!
               from Takuu Island is planned by Hans, SM6CVX, G3KHZ, G4EDG
               and CT1AGF for activities on all bands CW/SSB with three
               stations. If they get some spare time they will maybe be
               active a few days from Tulun (OC-256) on 6-9 October
               (callsign to be decided). A special permission is needed
               to be able to visit the islands, which as some researchers
               beleive belongs to those that will sink into the ocean in
               about 5 years! The expedition will be very expensive,

30/9 - 12/10   MALDIVES; 8Q7AK AS-013
               from the Island of Embudu by G7COD. Activity will be
               mainly SSB with possibility of a little CW on the
               30/20/17/15/12 meters. Suggested frequencies are:
               14147, 18133, 21253 and 24953 kHz (+/- 10 kHz to allow
               for QRM). Times of operation will be every day from
               0830-1030z and 1300-1515z. QSL either via the bureau
               or direct to G7COD.

17/10 - 30/10  CHATHAM IS.; ZL7/DL2AH
               by DL2AH on 10-40 m RTTY/SSB. After that he is planning
               for two weeks on VK9N, Norfolk Island. QSL hc direct or
               via bureau.

17/10 - 30/10  GAMBIA; C52C
               by OMØC Contest Group with six operators, OM2TW, OM1KW,
               OM2RA, OM6NM, OM5AW and OM1NW on 6-160 m CW/SSB/Digital,
               mainly low bands. They will use four well equipped stations
               and they will be QRV in the CQ WW SSB Contest. A tour to

19/10 - 22/10  LORD HOWE I.; VK9GLX
               by JA1XGI (W8XGI) on 40/30/20 meters and possibly the lower
               bands CW, SSB and Digital (RTTY, SSTV). QSL via JA1XGI

25/10 - 31/10  BELIZE; V31FB NA-073
               from Ambergris Caye by W5JON on 160-10 meters SSB.
               He also plans to be active in the CQ WW DX SSB Contest.

18/11 - 26/11  BAHAMAS; C6ATA
               by K2KW will be active including participation in
               the CQ WW DX CW Contest (November 24-25th) as a
               Single-Op/Single-Band (40 m)/Low-Power entry. Outside of
               the contest he will be active on 160-30 meters, mostly CW.

19/11 - 24/12  TUNISIA; 3V
               by GMØDHZ for a 5 week holiday-style operation with
               activity on 80-10 meters and possibly 160 m, CW and SSB.

19/11 - 27/11  SAN ANDRES; HKØ
               by K3WT, NØSTL, WØOR and NØAT. Activity will include the
               CQ World Wide DX CW Contest as a Multi-Single entry.
               Contest callsign has not been announced yet.

20/11 - 27/11  NETHERLANDS ANTILLES; PJ4/hc SA-006
               from Bonaire by KU8E, K4BAI and K5OT. Also look for them
               to be active as PJ4A during the CQ World Wide DX CW Contest.
               QSL all callsigns via K4BAI.

20/11 - 3/12   MONTSERRAT; VP2M NA-103
               by K3VX, K4NO, K7NM, AK9F, K9NR and K9CS (VP2MSC).
               Activity will include entries in the CQ WW DX CW Contest
               and ARRL 160 Contests. Callsigns and other info will be
               forthcoming. QSL via K9CS.

February 2008  COCOS I.; TI9
               The next DXpedition to TI9 will depart in February 2008!

11 - 28/2 2008 DUCIE I.; VP6DX OC-182
               is being organized to take place in February 2008 by a
               large team of experienced operators. Landing permissions
               and licences have been granted, and a suitable charter
               vessel has been secured. Activity will be on 160-6 metres
               with seven stations, all Elecraft K3 transceivers with
               ACOM amps. The team is seeking financial contributions
               to help defray the very significant costs of this
               Dxpedition, well over 200,000 USDs. Full details on how

12/2 - 25/2    JAMAICA; 6Y5/MØDXR NA-097
               activity will include the ARRL DX CW Contest. Outside the
               contest he will be active on all bands. QSL via his home

Early Mar 2008 CLIPPERTON I.; FO/C NA-011
               a team lead by N6OX would be going to Clipperton Island
               sometime in early March 2008, planning to operate 12-14
               days depending on conditions. More details will be
