::.  RULES US IPARC Annual Contest Two annual contests are organised by the club, one by the USA Section, on the first weekend in May and the other by the German Section on the first weekend in November, each year. In addition the Italian Police arrange the ARFoPI Contest in October. (No information on these contests has been submitted at this time). The contests are designed to enhance the opportunity for greater contact between IPA radio amateurs and to assist participants to gain the IPARC Awards. All radio amateurs are welcome to participate.

Rules:

Points in each mode or category must not be added together. Multipliers are the 50 US States worked with an IPARC station / IPARC Club Station / IPARC ’1x1’ Station. A State may be used as a multiplier once only. US IPARC home call AND its US IPARC Club station call OR its ’1x1’ call may be logged. (If the station has both a club call and a ’1x1’ call only one of these can be counted).

Points:

Non-IPARC stations worked - 1 point. Non-US IPARC stations worked - 2 points. US IPARC stations worked - 5 points. Any IPARC Club Station worked - 10 points US ’1x1’ Stations (e.g. W1A) worked - 20 Points. To obtain a 1X1 call sign for 03, go to the ARRL web site and navigate to the 1X1 section. The name of our event is "The US IPARC Annual Celebration". The start date is 27 April, 2003, the end date is 11 May, 2003. Check to see if the 1X1 call you desire is available for this period. Once you receive confirmation, print the letter. This verifies your authority to use the 1X1 for the dates specified. Each station can be worked only once in each mode. The CW and SSB Contests are separate contests.
