Check to make certain you are sending logs to the CURRENT Vice-President. YLRL’s Current Vice-President is: (updated April 5, 2005) Mailing address: Mary Moore, WX4MM 1593 Lee Road 375 VALLEY, AL 36854 USA E-mail: wx4mm(at)tm-moore.com 2. Logs must be postmarked no later than 30 days after each contest ends. 3. Scoring: • Phone and CW contests will be scored separately. Separate logs must be submitted for each contest. • One point is earned for each different station worked on each band. The same station may be worked on different bands. In the YL-OM contest only, YLs count OMs and OMs count YLs. • Multiplier will be the ARRL sections and/or DX countries, whichever is appropriate. Canadian provinces are counted individually. Multipliers are used only once on all bands when figuring the score. • Contestants running a power output of 100 watts or less on CW and 200 watts PEP or less on SSB, at all times during the contest, earn a power factor of 1.5 • Computation is done by multiplying the points times the multiplier times the power factor. • For each duplicate contact that is removed from the log by the Vice-President, a penalty of three additional and equal contacts will be extracted. 4. Logs: • All logs must show the operator’s ARRL section, VE province, or country to qualify for awards. Where applicable, logs must state whether or not the operator is a member of YLRL. For each QSO, logs must also state the power output. If you have 200 or more QSOs, submit a separate log for each band and submit a "dupe" sheet. • Please type or print. Do not send carbon copies of logs. Photocopies are OK. • Logs must be signed and show claimed score. No logs will be returned. • Entries in log must also show time, band, date and transmitter power. 5. Exchange: Station worked, QSO number given and received, RS(T) given and received, and section / province / country. -------------------- ooo -------------------- Date of info: April 5, 2005 - Source: YLRL Web Site - http://www.qsl.net/ylrl/ylcontests.html - (Original rules updated: January 5, 2005) -------------------- ooo -------------------- MORE INFO: YLRL Web Site: http://www.qsl.net/ylrl/ -------------------- ooo -------------------- Please send corrections/changes/new rules/results to: Jan-Eric Rehn - SM3CER sm3cer(at)contesting.com ------------------------------------------------- URL: http://www.sk3bg.se/contest/text/ylrlgen.txt Copyright © 1997-2005 Jan-Eric Rehn - SM3CER This page was created December 29, 1997 Most recent revision April 5, 2005 -------------------------------------------------
