OBJECT: Stations outside of Oklahoma work as many Oklahoma stations in as many Oklahoma counties as possible. Stations in Oklahoma work anyone. EXCHANGE: Oklahoma stations send signal report and county. Stations outside of Oklahoma send signal report and State, Canadian Province, or DXCC Country. Note that Oklahoma stations working other Oklahoma stations must log the complete exchange, including county even though they all count as the ’OK’ multiplier. Entries with incomplete or improperly logged QSOs will be subject to penalties or disqualification. QSO POINTS: Each complete non-duplicate Phone contact is worth 2 points. Each complete non-duplicate Digital mode or CW contact is worth 3 points. No partial contact credit. MULTIPLIERS: Oklahoma stations count U.S. states (50) and Canadian Provinces (9) for a maximum of 59. All others use Oklahoma counties for a maximum of 77. Number each multiplier as worked. SCORE: The total score is the total number of QSO points multiplied by the total number of multipliers. BANDS: 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, 10 meters - OK HF class. 6 meters and up - OK VHF class. 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, 10, 6 meters and up - World class. WARC band contacts do not count. Do not use repeater frequencies on any band as repeater contacts do not count. Do not use any call or guard frequencies. SUGGESTED HF on or around FREQUENCIES: CW - 3.545, 3.745, 7.045, 7.140, 14.045, 21.045, 21.145, 28.045, 28.145. PHONE - 3.860, 7.260, 14.260, 21.360, 28.360. CLASS ENTRIES: Oklahoma HF • SOHP - Single Op High Power > 100 watts • SOLP - Single Op Low Power up to 100 watts • QRP - 5 watts or less • Multi-Single - Multi operator single transmitter • Rover - Mobile or portable station (multiple county operations) Oklahoma VHF • SO - Single Operator • QRP - 5 watts or less • Multi-Single - Multi operator single transmitter • Rover - Mobile or portable station (multiple county operations) World - ( Stations Outside Oklahoma ) • SOHP - Single Op High Power > 100 watts • SOLP - Single Op Low Power up to 100 watts • QRP - 5 watts or less • Multi-Single - Multi operator single transmitter All stations may be worked once on CW, Digital mode and Phone per band. Single-Operator and Multi-Single entries are allowed only one transmitting signal. All contacts must be simplex. Oklahoma rovers that change counties are considered to be a new station and may be contacted again for point and multiplier credit. A rover operates from any temporary location using temporary antennas. AWARDS: A plaque will be issued to the highest scoring station, with a minimum of 100 contacts, in the log from each of the 13 class entries. Certificates will be issued to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th highest scoring entry from each of the 13 class entries. Certificates will be issued to the top three (3) DX (Non-U.S.call) entries. Certificates of participation are available. A $1.00 donation is requested to help cover printing and mailing cost of participation certificates. ENTRIES: Entries must be submitted no later than 30 April. Logs and summary sheets should be submitted by e-mail to: w5atv(at)cox.net Electronic logs should be named with your call (e.g., yourcall.LOG or yourcall.ALL etc. and yourcall.SUM). ASCII text format files are preferred. Use of CABRILLO formatted files is encouraged. A proper summary sheet will show the number of valid contacts and multipliers by band, total contacts and multipliers, total score, power output, name, call sign and address of the operator, station call sign and exchange (name and location) sent during the contest.
