The output file will be a CABRILLO-file for checking your log in a log checking program. The Cabrillo file will be called yourcall_NRAU07_CW.log or yourcall_NRAU07_PH.log (example: 7S3A_NRAU07_CW.log). Cabrillo editor for NRAU Baltic by SM2EZT (Version 1.11 - 21 January 2006) It's only one .exe-file called NRAUMan.exe (526 kB). Due to restrictions from the server provider we have to distribute the file as a .zip-file called NRAUMan.zip (261 kB). Download the program at: - http://www.sk3bg.se/contest/files/NRAUMan.zip - How to install: Save in a temporary directory, unzip the file using WinZip or similar, use File Manager to put NRAUMan.exe in a folder that you prefer (example: C:/Ham/NRAUMan). --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- How to make your log: --------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Quick info for skilled computer users ------------------------------------------------------------------- • Start the program • Choose File-New • Type your info and click OK • Choose the correct band, date and time (UTC) • Type the worked station, received serial number and district abbreviation (Go to the next field with RIGHT ARROW or ENTER) • Check sent and received RS(T) • Log with ENTER • For next QSO change the time with + or - on the numerical keyboard or with UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW • The log will be saved as f. i. "7S3A_NRAU07_CW.log" or "7S3A_NRAU07_PH.log" and will automatically be named • Send the log to: - oz3abe(at)edr.dk - before January 31st the year of the contest ------------------------------------------------------------------- • Open the program. The opening screen will appear. • Click on "Help" in the menu and then "Help" again and a window with detailed information about "How to make your log" will be shown. (You can print that text if you like. Use the menu popping up when you right-click with the mouse somewhere in that window). • Click on "File" and then "New". The window "New Log" pops up. • Fill in all your information. You can jump between the input fields with TAB or SHIFT-TAB. The input field "Contest" have two options - "NRAU-BALTIC-CW" and "NRAU-BALTIC-SSB". The input field "Category" have two options - "SINGLE-OP" and "CHECKLOG". To choose option click on the arrow to the right of the input field and use the "down" or "up" arrow for the correct option. • When you're finished click on the "OK" button. • Now you're ready to fill in your log information. You can jump between the input fields with TAB or SHIFT-TAB. The input field "Frequency" have two options - "3500" and "7000". To choose option click on the arrow to the right of the input field and choose the correct frequency. You can also choose between the two frequencies with F1 or/and F2. The input field "Date" have several options (correct dates for 2006-2009). To choose option click on the arrow to the right of the input field and choose the correct date. The input field "Time" shows the time 0530 or 0800 as default, depending on which mode is choosen in the "New Log" screen. To change the time you can use the "up" and "down" arrow OR the + and - keys on the numerical keyboard, when the cursor is in the "Call WKD" field. ------------------- NB! Always use UTC! ------------------- To change the sent and/or received RS(T) double-click in the field (or use TAB or SHIFT-TAB) and type the correct RS(T). ------------------------------------------------------- In the input field "Call WKD" be sure you are using the "0" for the figure "zero" and "O" for the letter O! ------------------------------------------------------- • ENTER will log the QSO, when you have entered the received district in the "Rec. Distr." field. NOTE: If you have done some input error you can easily edit your log file in the upper window. Under "Search" you have "Find..." and "Replace..." if you need to do some changes. • When you have finished your log input you can use the "Logcheck" tool under "Tools" in the menu to see if there are any errors in the log input. If there are any errors you can easily correct them in the log window. • You can also get your Claimed Scores. Click on "Tools" and then "Result" in the menu. The dupes are not counted in the QSO totals. • To save the log click on "File" and then "Save". The file will get the name "yourcall_NRAU07_CW.log" or "yourcall_NRAU07_PH.log". (Example: "7S3A_NRAU07_CW.log") Be sure to save the file in a folder where you can find it again...!
