Date and Period: In the third full weekend in May 2005: May 21 and 22 Starting Saturday 1500 UTC; ending Sunday 2400 UTC Bands & Mode: 3.5 - 7 - 14 - 21 - 28 MHz - A1A ( CW ) only. No cross band contacts. No WARC bands. Call: CQ JF TEST Exchange: • a) RST • b) RST / M (Members only) • c) RST / QRP (QRP station only) • d) RST / YL (YL station only) Points: • a) QSO’s confirmed, 2 points (including own country) • b) QSO’s with Members, QRP and YL, 5 points Multipliers: Every different prefix worked in every band. Final Scoring: The final score will be the sum of all valid points in all bands multiplied by the sum of valid multipliers in all bands. The Contest Committee may discard points and multipliers of claimed QSO’s with stations that did not send log and whose calls were not mentioned in, at least, 5 logs received from other contestants. Categories: • a) Single Operator / Single Band / 80 - 40 - 20 - 15 - 10 • b) Single Operator / All Band • c) Single Operator / QRP / All Band (maximum 10 W output) • d) Class C / All Band / PU’s / (Brazil station only) • e) Clubs or Groups / Multi Op. / Single Tx / All Band Awards: Manchester Mineira Trophy will be granted to the top scorer of the contest. Trophy for the top three scorers of each category may also be granted. Special Calls: Special prefixes during the CWJF test will be used by many stations of Brazil. They will be very valuable to many coveted awards. It is requested that the list for each band includes date, time, call of each station worked, sent and received exchanges, points and a multiplier column that shows a multiplier only when it is worked for the first time in the band listed. Call, name, postal address, city, country, category chosen by the participant and claimed score per valid band must be clearly informed in first sheet of log. Logs received after June 30, or not made in accordance to these rules, will be considered check-logs.
