Swiss HTC QRP Sprint
--------------------

Organizer: HTC - Helvetia Telegraphy Club, Switzerland


Objectives:
  Activate the short wave bands with "QRP" and work stations
  for the HTC and USKA diploma.


Date and Time:

    On second Saturday in September
    from 1300 - 1900 UTC


Participants:
  Open for any properly licensed amateur radio operator,
  especially "QRP".


Bands:
  Operation in CW (A1A) on the following amateur bands:
  3520 - 3570; 7020 - 7040; 14020 - 14070 kHz.

  Work stations only once per band.


Entry Classes:

    • VLP - Very low power with max. 1 Watt output
    • QRP - QRP with max. 5 Watt output
    • QRO - is over 5 watts output


Call:
  "CQ HTC TEST"


Exchange:
  RST / Class / Kanton, Province, DOK, etc. / first name
  e.g. 579/QRP/ZH/Max or 569/VLP/C12/Gerd


Scoring:
  Each complete QSO is scored as follows:

    • QSO with "VLP" Station 3 points.
    • QSO with "QRP" Station 2 points.
    • QSO with "QRO" Station 1 point.


Contest total:
  The sum of all QSO points times the class bonus VLP x 3, QRP x 2,
  ORO x 1 will give the CONTESTTOTAL.


Logs:
  The log sheet and the cover sheet are available for download at
  - http://www.htc.ch/ - or can be obtained from the contest manager.
  Please use only original log sheets.


Score List:
  Diploma will be given to the first three stations in the
  Swiss HTC QRP Sprint.

  There will be one result list which will be in the "Old Man" magazine
  from the USKA. It will be available at the HTC homepage, too.
  Participants who enclude a SASE in their submission will get a score
  list direct.


Log Submission:
  Sending the log is what counts. All log entries must be received
  30 days after the Sprint to be considered valid. Log not sent within
  time will be considered check logs. Please do not send E-Logs.
