Date: 22.01.2000 00:00 UTC to 23.01.2000 24:00 UTC (Saturday to Sunday) Stations to be worked: All stations, each station once on each band in each mode. Bands: 1.8 / 3.5 / 7 / 14 / 21 / 28 / 144 / 430 MHz complying with the stipulations of the IARU band plan and avoiding band segments that are not to be used in contests. Classes: - A = Single Op/Phone - B = Single Op/CW - C = Single Op/Mixed - D = Multi-Op - E = Special-Event-Stations Note: Special-event stations are those that are being operated to celebrate the turn of the millennium under an appropriate call sign. Modes: Phone, CW, Mixed. Exchange: RS(T) + ITU-zone. Special-Event-Stations give RS(T) + "2000". QSO points: - 1 point per QSO with "normal" stations. - 5 points per QSO with "2000" stations (special-event-stations). - 10 points per QSO with "D*2000" stations (special-event-stations in DL). Final total: Total number of QSO points. Logs: Date, UTC, band, mode, call sign, exchange. Awards: The 10 best-placed stations in each class will receive a "DL2000" DARC MILLENIUM AWARD free of charge as long as they fulfil the respective terms and conditions. The rules of the DARC-Millennium-Award "DL2000" apply in other respects. Disqualification: Unsporting behavior - failure to comply with the rules.
