| First of all: TNX to all who took part in this contest! The number of participants decreased this year to 24! (1997: 53, 1996: 36). This is a result of the bad PR last year, contest rules did not appear in the several foreign magazines! This year everything will be send to the magazines in time for publication.
We made some important changes in the contest rules, TNX to the good input of some participants.
- On Saturday the CW part will take place from 14.00-20.00 UTC and on Sunday the SSB part from 08.00-14.00 UTC.
- We suggest to use the following frequency ranges to make your contest calls in SSB: 3.600-3.650, 7.080-7.090, 14.270-14.300, 21.270-21.300, 28.470-28.500
- In CW pse call CQ Yls and CQ OMs in order to avoid any mixups with YL and OM countries.
Congrats to all the winners, first three of every section will receive their awards together with this contest result info.
