RULES

 The Eu Sprint Plaque:

In 1994 the EU Sprint Gang (I2UIY, OK2FD, DL6RAI, and G4BUO) organized the first European Sprint contests.

In 2001 there have been some rule changes, introducing an awards programme and bringing the Spring Sprints forward in the calendar.

The BIG news is that we decided to award a certificate to the winners in each country but this is not all. Three nice plaques will be awarded for the top three scores from all four contests combined.

Dmitri Gorshkov
2 681 - Ted - 4 3
679 - Sasa - 4   631 - Andy - 4

Congratulations to the three winners of Plaques for the highest combined score. Ted, LY2OX, won the first prize for the second time thanks to a great effort in the last CW Sprint. In the other 3 events he was #11, and #7 twice. Sasa, 9A3NM, did well in the last two Sprints where he ended #4 twice while Andy, UA2FB (operating as RW2F), missed a lot of points in the last Sprint where he ended only #29 after a first place, a seventh and a eleventh.

Here is the full list of those who entered at least 3 of the four Eu Sprint 2002. This year none of who entered only 3 events was able to achieve a score even closer to the winners.

There are also certificates for the winners of each sprint and the leading score from each country. Give it a try and you might win a certificate as the top in your country! The more activity we get in the Sprints, the more fun there is for everybody.
