| Here are the results for the 2000 Spring EU Sprint CW contest.
Thanks for the high activity! 153 different stations were active in this contest from which 62 sent a log. That is a slight decrease of activity over last year, when we had 77 logs.
Only 2 logs were hand written logs this time, 3 were printed computer logs, 0 came on a diskette, 2 via packet radio and the rest, 55 logs, came in by E-mail and were automatically confirmed by the EU sprint log robot.
6302 QSOs were checked, from which 4762 could be directly cross-checked in the logs, 1379 were checked by majority decision and log tracing and only 27 true unique calls remained. 351 QSOs were found to be invalid due to errors on one or both sides. The net amount of valid QSOs is 5951. The average error rate over all entrants was 5.8%, however, three entrants (RA3CW, LY1DS and UP6F) had 0% errors. The highest error rates were around 40% this time. Of 100% QSOs, 20% were made on 80 meters, 38% on 40 meters and 41% on 20 meters.
