 PURPOSE OF THE CONTEST

To celebrate the XXXI Anniversary of the foundation of the Panama Radio Club, to promote and increase the DX activities of the Panamanians radiohams and to strengthen the friendship ties with radiohams of the world. The main purpose is to make the highest possible number of radio contacts with other radio amateurs.

 PARTICIPANTS

All radio amateurs, worldwide, can participate. Contacts between all radio hams, worldwide, are valid.

 DATE AND DURATION OF THE CONTEST

September 22, 2002 between 1200 and 2359 UTC

 ASSIGNED BANDS

40 meters and 20 meters.

 MODE

PHONE.

 CATEGORY

Single operator.

 CALL

"CQ Contest, XXXI Anniversary, Panama Radio Club".

 POINTS

  1. All contacts 1 point.
  2. HP1RCP official station 5 points.

 MULTIPLIERS

The total multiplied by the number of countries contacted (using the DXCC list).

 AWARDS

  • A. Commemorative Certificate to all stations with 3 (three) or more contacts with "HP" stations, in any mode that forward their logs confirming the contacts.

  • B. DX Stations (Not HP):
    To the station with the highest points in each continent (Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, Oceania and Antarctica) a plaque as Continent Champion. (A total of seven (7) plaques).

    To be eligible for the plaque it is mandatory to have contacted three (3) or more "HP" stations, in any mode, duly confirmed by logs. The three "HP" contacts requirements is essential to be eligible for any of the awards.

  • C. HP Stations:
    To the station in the HP zone with highests number of points; the first, second and third place participants will receive a plaque also.

    To opt for the plaque, it is mandatory to have contacted three (3) or more HP stations, confirmed by log. This requirements is essential to be eligible for certificate any of the plaques.

  • D. Being Panama the host country, HP stations will not be eligible for the continent plaque.

  • E. The only valid contacts are those confirmed by log.

 LOGS

At the Panama Radio club web you download the log and the summary for using.

When preparing your log, clearly insert your full name, call sign and address, so we can forward the awards, should you be the winner.

 LAST DAY FOR FORWARDING THE LOGS

Logs will be accepted, in a sealed envelope, provided they are stamped by the Post Office at the country, with a mailing date not later than November 25, 2002, arriving direct to:
