All decisions of the contest committee are final.

Any questions please feel free to email KC4WQ.

 Multipliers:

KY stations:
1 multiplier for each state, Canadian province and DXCC country regardless of mode plus KY4KY and W4KBR. (Canada and US do not count as separate multipliers, AK and HI count as state multipliers only).

One (1) multiplier for each KY county (max 120) plus KY4KY and W4KBR. Max total 122 multipliers.

 Points:

One point for SSB Q’s. Two points for CW QSO’s. Rover stations two points (regardless of mode).

 Exchange:

KY stations, name and county.

OTHER stations, name and state, province, or country.

 Awards:

TOP DOG awards for each of the 4 designated KY sectors (each consisting of 30 counties listed below.) Top overall CW, SSB and Mixed KY station. TOP DOG award for the highest scoring rover station.

TrophyKY Club competition award - For the KY club accruing the highest overall points a ROVING trophy will be awarded at the Louisville Hamfest in September. The trophy is designated as roving because the club only gets bragging rights for the one year (similar to the gilded antlers of the Great Steamboat Race) and must be returned to the Louisville Hamfest the following year for presentation to the new TOP DOG club.

Non-KY stations - TOP DOG award for each state, Canadian province and DXCC country. (DXCC country certificates may be special editions QSL’s through the DX bureau).

Preliminary results will be posted to this website within 2 weeks of close of entry. Final results will be posted within one week of snail mail deadline.
