This version should be comparable with ARRL FD 1998 rules. It should also fix the LSB problem when CT is used with ICOM IC-756 in phone contests (I’ll be checking this myself later).

• Fixed a 8 year old bug in CQ160 reporting. The mode listed in the .ALL file was shown as CW, even in the SSB contest. (Tnx N2LQQ).

• CT no longer polls Kenwood radios will PTT is asserted. Some Kenwoods stutter on CW during RS232 activity. (Tnx VK4EMM).

• There are two new text commands POINTRATE and QSORATE. POINTRATE displays rates in points over the last 10 minutes or hour. QSORATE is the rate for the last 10 or 100 QSOs. (Tnx CT1BOH).

• After a band change via typing in a frequency, the announce window now follows properly. (Tnx KV1W).

• WRITELOG now produces .CON file in WPX test. (Tnx OH2XX).

• Changes for Field Day.
  1. Removed packet bonus
  2. Removed VHF bonus
  3. Added band change (QSY OK) checking, set to 15 minutes. If a violation occurs, the time field is highlighed in red.
  4. QSO’s allowed on 160 through 24 gHz. Didn’t have room for the LIGHT (laser) band.
  5. Three modes per band.

• CT now supports point and shoot for the band map:
  Use ALT RIGHT ARROW to enter the band map. Select a spot with the UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW, then press <ENTER>. This is similar to the Announce Window point and shoot. When you are done, ALT F4 transfers you back to your run frequency as usual. You may also select a QSO from the band map and press the DEL key to delete it.

• Alt F4 has changed a bit. After you have selected a spot through either the Announce Window point and shoot, or the Band Map Window point and shoot, ALT F4 will toggle between your run frequency and the selected spot.

  ALT F4 used to toggle between your run frequency and last spot in the Announce Window. Using the new scheme, you can repeatedly toggle between your run frequency and the pileup, holding the run freq and calling in the pileup.

• CT now supports the FT920.

• Fixed 940 bug.

• Fixed networking crash.

• Fixed SETDATE command. (Tnx K1AE).

• IARU check country is now fixed. (Tnx K3CT).

• Fixed crash on WRITELOG of large VHF logs. (Tnx K1TR).

• CT now reads and restores the CW sideband (upper or lower).

• CT now supports PTT on pin 16 of the LPT ports. Pin 16 is asserted for one baud (dot period) before CW sending commences. This allows amplifier relays time to trip before the RF hits.

• Fixed the "long dash problem" when using the ’+’ key to confirm and QRZ.

• This version has a re-written communications handler for talking to radios, packet and networking. This is prep work for the Windows release.

• FT840 added, but not tested (I dont’t have a radio to test with).
